I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2+ weeks. I interviewed at Analog Devices (San Jose, CA (US)) in April 2011.

    Interview

Interview was based mostly on acadmia and not enough on real job experience. Interview team was redundant in places with different individuals repeating the same questions. There should have been more personal questions as to see how good a fit we could have been. All in all the interview process was not too stressful

    Interview

Applied on my university's on-campus interview website. Asked me to explain a time when I used my technical knowledge to solve a problem.

    Interview Questions

    • There were some technical questions asked at the end of the interview. Most of them having to do with filters and solving for the transfer functions.   Answer Question

    Difficult Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Analog Devices (Greensboro, NC (US)) in October 2014.

    Interview

Process was very thorough, but extremely friendly. Talked with two Senior Product Engineers and a Manager (phone interviews), before on-site Interview. On-site Interview was all day, with 6 interviewers, all asking technical questions. Questions were difficult, but people were extremely friendly. All in all, the process was very good, and I had nothing but good things to say about their company.

    Interview Questions

    • Questions on: RC Circuits, Transmission Lines, Digital Logic, Transistor Design (Cascoding and Gain), Feedback Systems (poles and Zeros), and MOS theory.   Answer Question

    Negotiation

Already had an offer, so company moved quickly to pick me up. No need to negotiate - offer, sign-on bonus, and options were all fantastic.
