2. Online Assessments (for many roles)
HireVue video interview: recorded responses to behavioral and situational questions
Some roles include math, logic, or coding tests (especially for engineering, quant, or analyst roles)
3. First-Round Interviews
Typically 1–2 interviews (virtual or in-person)
Mix of:
Behavioral questions (teamwork, leadership, failure, ethics)
Technical questions relevant to the role
Finance roles: accounting, valuation, markets, brain teasers
Engineering roles: data structures, algorithms, system design
Interviewers assess structured thinking and clarity under pressure
4. Superday (Final Round)
Several back-to-back interviews (often 3–6)
Conducted by senior team members and potential managers
Heavier emphasis on:
Problem-solving approach
Communication and confidence
Cultural fit with Goldman’s values (teamwork, integrity, excellence)
