I applied for the job directly on the AppNexus website (not via recruiter), which I feel might be worth noting. After the application was submitted, an internal recruiter reached out to me directly within a couple of days to organize an in-person chat with someone from the hiring team. Then there was a series of 3 more rounds of in-person interviews (all with different members/teams of the company). From every touch point, the experience was very pleasant and efficient - each discussion had a clear next step, and direct feedback from both myself and the interviewer.

The Process took 5+ weeks (the entire team was away for a summit for a week in between, stretching the process to 6 weeks). I applied online and got a response from a New York based recruiter the next day asking for availability for a phone screen with the hiring manager. Feedback came in a day. This was followed by 3 different sessions over the next month at the office - 1st session was 3 interviews back to back with different potential team members and office mates, each subsequent with 1 person. Feedback for each came within a day. Final round was with MD of JAPAC via Video conferencing. Feedback for this came after 4 days with the news about offer. The recruitment team based in NY and London was quick and responsive around scheduling and re-scheduling due to conflicts with interviewer's schedules. The process was designed to help me understand the various teams and what my role will be. Everyone seemed keen to make me comfortable at the office before the interview.
