      Application

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Apple (San Francisco, CA) in Jul 2017

      Interview

Round 1. Several rounds with the team and the hiring manager over the phone. Nature of questions were technical and people skills. SOme were very difficult questions. Round 2. In person full day interview with the extended team. No particular schedule. People get added and the coordinator keeps sending the email during the interview. 2 Days after the interview the recruiter sent an email saying that they are pursuing other candidates with a better match. No reason, no detailed communications. Reaching to the recruiter but no answer.

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Apple (San Francisco, CA)

      Interview

The interview process was in 3 stages. The first interview was with a recruiter lasted for 15-20 mins. After a week, recruiter scheduled an interview with a director. The phone interview lasted for 30 mins. It was positive, good discussion. I didn't hear anything back for 3-4 weeks, and then suddenly recruiter reached out saying they would like schedule another phone interview with a manager for 30 mins. The phone interview went well again, the manager asked me more technical questions and for 10 mins, I was given a case study, which we were discussing from multiple angles. I was asking questions, providing my inputs etc. I felt it went great. I was waiting for response from recruiter after this, never heard back. Not exactly sure, what are they looking for?
