**One out of two ain't bad** I was contacted fairly quickly for an interview after my online submission - directly with the hiring manager/director, with little intervention with HR. Super efficient and I like it this way since the hiring manager would be the best person to filter through candidates anyway. It was 1 panel interview with 2 contacts. There supposedly is to be 3 panelists but one couldn't make it. Standard behavioral and technical questions relating to cyber risk that can be answered using the SOAR/STAR method. The hiring director is very pleasant and approachable, while her peer was not. He was intimidating, and when I tried to word why I no longer had a job (politically correct answer), he pressed on aggressively because he did not seem satisfied with my answer, even when I tried tact. I would put this a thumbs up but that experience lowered this rating. At the hiring request, I also submitted my official university transcript. I ended up not being selected, and was grateful to get a rejection email weeks later, rather than being ghosted - so I appreciated it (despite 1 of the unpleasant interviewer).
