After chatting with the HR team, I scheduled an interview and met with the VP of business development within the week. They made a competitive offer quickly and without any of the shenanigans you sometimes come across. The VP of business development was tough with questions, asking about my work ethic and how I planned to "add value" to the organization. He responded well to my questions. I felt a little strange in my nylons and heels when he was in a Hawaiian shirt, but I did interview on casual Friday. Overall a good experience and a strong offer, there just didn't end up being a long-term need for my position.
