Interview
I applied online and soon had a first Skype call with the recruiter to talk about the company and my expectations. The second step was a technical interview with the team leads about data structures and algorithms. The third step was a video call with the CTO and HR to discuss whether I would be a good fit for the team.
Everyone was friendly and the process was fast and straightforward.

I had an interview with the internal recruiter, which was very kind and friendly. The tech interview was made with two internal devs, and in the very end i talked to the CTO (couple of times)

Interview
I applied online and got response from HR guy on the next day. The overall process was 4 skype calls + assignment.
1st call (1 hour). Initial screening with HR. He described the company, the recruitment process, asked questions about my background, CV, expectations and so on.
On the next day I got a follow-up and test assignment. In a week after I sent the assignment solution, I got feedback and we arranged second call.
2nd call (1 hour) was with backend chapter lead. It was more like friendly conversation of two technical experts than interview. We talked about how my assignment solution can be improved, what technologies I know and what technologies and processes they use.
In a two days I got feedback and next call has been arranged in a week.
3rd call (30 mins) was with the same backend guy + DevOps lead. It was actually pretty much the same as previous call, but counting the DevOps we talked more about related technologies like CI and such.
The 4th call (30 mins) was arranged in a week and it was with CTO. Again we talked about technologies at Bynder, about their strategies. We also talked about my experience and skills that are not relevant for the company currently but may be useful in future. This was the finall call just to make sure that I'm the person they are looking for.
I got feedback on the same day and we scheduled a call for the next day to discuss ther offer.
Overall experience before this point was great.
But here comes the rotten apple that spoils the barrel. There is a law, in Netherlands, that defines a minimum wage that company should pay to an employee that needs work visa (highly skilled migrant). The Bynder offered me salary that is €800 less than required minimum. After I pointed to that fact, they said that they didn't know and it probably was raised recently because it was not that high. They took time to think. After a 1.5 weeks they came back with decision that they cannot afford to do me that offer.
Well, it happens. But the thing that they didn't know that minimum wage, untill I pointed this, left me with feeling that time was wasted (for all of us). I mean, if they knew about that, we didn't even need all these 4 calls. So, after all, I cannot say that my overall experience was positive.
