Recruiter reached out and conducted pre-screen. Scheduled phone call with team lead, then asked to come in for in-person interview. Met with team leader, analysts, developer, and manager. Was not offered position due to work samples.

Interview
A very tiny group of 5 developers, that were interviewing their future Boss. The head of the area wasn't sure what he was looking for: "a strong lead", "a Manager" or "Director of Software Development" (IMHO, you have to chose one before you call people in.)
All 5 people got to interview the candidate one at a time, most lacked experience interviewing or knew what to ask a potential leader.

Interview
Questions were as expected, no surprises. The people conducting both interviews on behalf of the Company were professional and personable. The process from applying to first interview, to second interview to final decision took about two months.
