I was contacted on LinkedIn by a Recruiter, which was nice at the beginning. But their organization is a bit messy, after few days I was contacted through another recruiter which didn’t know I was in the process. They don’t care if you have a job, so the interviews were in difficult hours, forced to take holidays for it.
After a tedious tech test, which takes me more than a week in my evenings, we went to a technical interview, I went to Barcelona office (where I wait 30min outside because no one answer the door/phone/skype/whatsapp), that first interview was nice and interviewers looks smart, one was connected from Malta, we told about my test and we move to some general questions, after the interview the guy in the office explain me some projects and said me they will call me for next steps.
BUT, two weeks later, in the middle of Christmas holidays they wanted another technical interview more. This second interview, with another two guys was made using Skype. They ask me random things, like my knowledge in Erlang, Node.JS, difference between RabbitMQ and Kafka, ZooKeeper, Unity3D and so on, so I tried to explain what I know, but obviously couldn’t go deep on them.
After a week they send me a very rude email without constructive feedback. I don’t really know what they are looking for, but in my opinion if you want someone who knows Erlang, Node.JS, Selenium, etc better if you describe it from the beginning. Don’t waste people time..
