I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Chipotle (Gurnee, IL) in Feb 2014
Interview
Three stage process. First interview with service manager, then second with general manager or restauranteur. Third interview is with the entire staff. They hire based on their 13 characteristics. If you can make it through the first two interviews, it is almost guaranteed that you will be hired. Questions aren't difficult, they are more or less feeling out your personality and if you will fit in with the team. Act enthusiastic, and ask questions. Be engaged with the interviewers and if you make it to the group interview, just relax and chat with the team.
Just applied online and then got a call to come in for an interview. it was a very straightforward process. interviewed right there in the seating area by the hiring manager.
the interview was very professional and respectful. i appreciated the clear questions and respectful environment. i was given water and they actually sent an email saying i was rejected instead of ghosting me, nice
Easy got the job right away with no experience. NEGATIVE: you need to buy new shoes and was not told this until my first shift...What stood out most was the lack of professionalism. The environment seemed chaotic, and employees appeared stressed and overworked, which made me question the overall workplace culture.
Overall, the experience didn’t reflect well on the company, and it made me reconsider wanting to work there. I hope they improve their interview process to better respect candidates’ time and present a more positive image of their workplace.
