I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Chipotle (Seattle, WA) in Aug 2014
Interview
The interview process was okay (not bad, but not the greatest). I had a phone screening interview over the phone first. The interviewer asked me basic questions about my resume, my skills and experiences. I then had an in person interview with one of the assistant managers and the manager of the restaurant. They asked a lot of behavioral questions (why do you want to work at Chipotle, what are you strengths and weaknesses, what do you know about the company, etc). The entire process took about 2 weeks, which is relatively fast.
Met with the restaurant manager. did taste testing of everything on the line. Be prepared for random questions that have little to do with the actual job. Outside of this, showing interest in the actual brand does seem to help.

Interview
The Chipotle training manager appeared 20 minutes lately, then as soon as I said I am not U.S. citizen, he disappeared silently and never came back. That’s the funniest things I’ve ever experienced since 10 years ago.
Was very casual, applied online, called to schedule an interview time, interview occurred, questions were very basic and normal regarding fast food and customer experience. very easy normal fine very easy
