    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Columbia Threadneedle Investments (Portland, OR (US)) in August 2019.

    Interview

Very quick, well coordinated. I had an initial screening phone interview with a recruiter which was excellent - she was very knowledgeable. The second interview was with the hiring leader via phone. Again, went great, very frank, lots of good feedback. Third interview was in person, 30 minutes w/hiring leader, 30 min directly w/a future coworker, and 30 min w/a team panel.

    Interview

It started off a bit late. Not sure why? Then there was significant lag between the interview and the additional steps that had to be taken. I was told that there would be a panel interviewing and that was not the case.

    Interview

Interview process took around 2 months all together, leaving me highly confident that I was going to be offered a position. Ended up finding out that they extended a offer to someone and still had me come in for another interview. Weeks later finally getting the denial email. The company is very poor at communicating with potential new hires and feels the need to ignore emails.
