Application

Interview

First interview with HR staff, and then a second interview with tech team and IT leader, it was fast and direct-to-the-point (the company was growing really fast). I can't remember any stressful situation during the proccess.

I applied directly through connection from alumni site. Got contacted after 2 days and arranged 2 phone interviews (with a Director and a CEO) in 3 days. After the second interview, I have received no further contact and feedback, although I reached out twice in the following weeks. So far, I still have not received any feedback.

First an GMAT like test, then two rounds of interviews with the managers of the area. Overall the interviews were mainly focused on assessing if you are a real fit for the every day tasks demanded by the job.

It’s worth noting first, that I didn’t participate in the regular interview process by submitting to the job, instead I was approached by the Marketing Analytics Manager through LinkedIn. For this reason, I believe that the process was conducted in a different way. But it was fast, short and straight forward.
The Marketing Analytics Manager sent me a LinkedIn message asking if I was interested in a job position at his department. Since Dafiti is an interesting and fast growing company, I decided I was worth finding out more about the opportunity.

After the initial contact through LinkedIn, a recruiter called and I was asked basic questions about my background and experience. He gave me more information about the job opening as well. The same day, I received an email from the same recruiter with a date and time for an interview with the manager.

Three days later, I met with the manager and the recruiter at the Dafiti headquarters in São Paulo. They were very welcoming and during the interview I was asked basic questions about my background, experience and current job. Then, the manager explained how Dafiti works and the responsibilities and day to day of a Marketing Analytics Consultant. Then they asked if I was interested and what it would take for me to leave my current job and join Dafiti.

Of course, I was interested. I didn’t want to leave my job, but the opportunity at Dafiti sounded very promising and a great challenge and chance to learn. My impression was that the interview had gone well. At the end, I was told to expect a response by the end of the subsequent week.
After more than a week and no contact, I sent an email to the recruiter asking about the hiring process. He asked me to wait until the end of that week and I would have an answer. Unfortunately, there was no more contact from the recruiter or the manager ever since.

I was very disappointed, since I was really looking forward to working there. But I would have accepted a negative response. The problem is the lack of respect by not even giving an answer, especially in a scenario where they asked me to participate in the process, and not the other way around. It looks like a good company, but they should pay more attention the their hiring process.

Consisted of a mathematical exam as well as multiple interviews that were conducted face to face with various levels of management. Interviews were conducted in both English and Portuguese. Overall the process took was pretty organized and HR did a good job at communicating next steps on proceeding with next steps.

Un asco, primero te entrevista una gorda que te trata con un desprecio inenarrable, luego vienen dos personas de sistemas a entrevistarte. En medio de la entrevista, la persona de rrhh se ríe de tus respuestas y hace ruidos raros con la boca, para nada profesional, una payasada.

El ambiente que se siente en la oficina es pesado, que al llegar ya te querés ir, es una mala experiencia.

Após envio do currículo para o e-mail que estava na descrição, fui convidado para uma entrevista na empresa. Tive uma conversa com o gestor da área e realizei uma prova parecida com um business case.
