Before I went to the interview, I took a look at their website to see what a potential customer would see if they wanted to use their services. The website has many links that do not work and does not have much information about what they can provide. When I arrived, the door was locked with a note on the door telling customers they cannot come in. The office was very filthy and looked as if it has never been cleaned and there was a very unpleasant smell. As I waited for the Office Manager, the Owner walked by me twice and never said a word to me. I would have at least expected a hello. During the interview I was told about the position... You work 40 hrs a week max (no over time possible), on-call most Saturdays, your day can start as early as 5am and end as late as midnight, and I am quoting the Manager 'You will only get paid minimum wage during your weeks of training because we are not going to pay you Tech wage to watch videos'. So that was a BIG REG FLAG for me that their training is to have a new hire watch videos. Also, I have never been hired by a company that did not pay you the salary for your position while in training. I asked her to explain to me how the Tech's are contacted for the calls they go on and she said, 'I cannot tell you that because we are a government contracted company and that's a company secret'. I am not sure how they expect to hire someone without them knowing how they will be contacted on a daily basis. This just seems like a very unprofessional environment. They also make you sign a nondisclosure agreement, so if this job does not work out for the new hire, they cannot work in the Tech field for 3 years up to a 300-mile radius of their business. This is nonnegotiable. My overall thoughts are I would not recommend working for this company if you are someone who likes professionalism and cleanliness.
