      Analyst, Data & Analysis Interview

      16 Nov 2017
      Anonymous employee
      Boston, MA
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through university. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Digitas (Boston, MA) in Nov 2017

      Interview

Everyone was super friendly and it was a very chill atmosphere. They seemed to be excited and really showed their enjoyment of being at DigitasLBi and were interested in what I had to say. Honestly, it was actually quite fun and engaging. The only con was there was no reimbursement for anything.

      Interview questions [2]

      Question 1

Typical behavioral (i.e. explain a time you had to deal with a difficult situation, why did you choose your major, why Boston)
      Answer question

      Question 2

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Digitas (New York, NY) in Jul 2017

      Interview

My process with DigitasLBi was long but, in the end, a very positive experience. I began the process with a phone screen and was eligible to be interviewed by two accounts. One team wanted to move forward and I then had a phone interview with the VP of the team. That phone call was great and felt like a casual conversation that enabled me to share my approach to analytics work. From there, I interviewed in person with 4 DigitasLBi staff members. 2 were from the team I'd be on and 2 worked on different accounts ranging from the Manager to VP level. Every staff member was great and positive. They had a wide range of backgrounds (some started as Analysts and worked their way up, some came to DigitasLBi later in their careers, etc.) and were able to speak to all of my questions. From there, I was informed a week later that I had received a verbal offer, but would need to wait a week to receive a written offer. I had an extremely rare case where approvals took longer than expected to happen, so I waited nearly 5 weeks to receive the formal written offer. Throughout this challenging and frustrating process, the HR representative still maintained weekly phone contact with me, which was greatly appreciated. The VP of the team also called me to apologize for the long delay. The overall experience was so positive that I felt confident enough to turn down 3 other job offers throughout the waiting process. It was a long time coming, but I think it will be worth the wait. Note - a lot of other interviews mention marketing sizing questions and case studies. I did not receive either during my interview but was well prepared in case they came my way.
