Terrible interview experience overall for me.
After applying, step 1 was scheduling a quick chat with a person that was located in a very distant timezone. Because of that, the earliest I could schedule that wasn't in the middle of the night for me was about a week later. That person messaged me 3 times in that time span to try to reschedule earlier (usually only a few hours before). When it eventually happened, this chat was quite frustrating because they were only interested in very simple answers to questions that required more nuance. It felt like if my answer didn't fit in their box in a couple of words, they would ask again until it did (like insisting on getting a precise number for salary expectation or an exact start date).
The next step was a technical interview. It got postponed twice, both times last minute. When it did happen it was ok, although a bit theoretical to my taste (with questions like "explain what the SOLID principles are").
After that, the next step was supposed to be a second technical interview, but it never happened as I simply got ghosted. Never heard from them ever again, didn't even get an answer when I reached out to ask what was up. I guess even a simple rejection email was too much to ask.
The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Distribusion in Sept 2025
Interview
My experience with the interview process was great from start to finish. The process consisted of four rounds (including a live coding round), each with a different focus and set of interviewers, allowing me to interact with various team members and gain insight into both the role and the company culture. Every interviewer was well-prepared, asked engaging questions, and made me feel comfortable, which helped me present my best self.
Throughout the journey, communication was outstanding and very professional. Paul Davies, the Senior Talent Acquisition Partner, was continually responsive, informative, and genuinely supportive. Paul made sure I was updated about every step, promptly addressed my queries, and clearly explained what to expect next.
The structure and organization of the process were impressive, and my overall experience left me with a very positive impression of Distribusion Technologies and its people.

Question 1
What do you think will happen in this industry in the coming years with the rise of AI?
It was alright, nothing special. Standard questions, the interview went rather quickly. But I was not very inspired. Thanks for your time to my interviewer, I think he is really interested in company's success.
