ESRF interview questions

ESRF has a cruel lack of consideration for candidates. I applied 4 months ago and despite several interviews (a 45-minute online interview, a 1.5-hour panel interview, a 1-hour HR interview and a 45-minute technical test) and reminders, I still have no answer (3 months after the panel interview !!!). This radio silence after such a major investment of time and energy (travel, preparation of PowerPoint presentations, etc.) shows a flagrant lack of professionalism, especially for a research institute of this stature. This negative experience contrasts sharply with the seriousness of other research institutions with which I have interacted.

I communicated mainly with the HR and the beamline sciantist seemed to be annoyed by having to be there. Everything was very formal and the decision took them more than a month, but then they wanted decision within two days
