First did an assessment test, then interview with HR, then hiring manager and peers. Then you get ghosted. Completely. After investing over 10 hours to interview with this company, HR will not answer the phone, return calls or return emails. Very unprofessional. I think that they should be required to compensate for time wasting.

Given my excitement about the field, it was very unfortunate that the company showed no respect of applicant's time which was a red flag. Their recruiter had sent me a 30-minute "pre-employment assessment", and after completing it I was told that I'd have to re-take it while being watched via Zoom to be considered for a screening. Hitting the bumps that early in the process hinted the high possibility of company not having their ducks in the row in other areas as well, so needless to say, I did not proceed.
