      Service Desk Agent Interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Everforth Apex Systems in Jun 2016

      Interview

I was left a voicemail message by an Senior Infrastructure Recruiter about a possible position. They also sent me an email saying that my resume and skills were a good match for the job. I called back and the recruiter asked why there was a recent, long term gap in my employment. I was honest and said it was due to health reasons, I'm perfectly fine now, and for the last year I have been seeking employment. As soon as I said that the job was no longer a good match for me. The client wouldn't want someone who had not working in some time, blah blah blah. Meanwhile, it was all there in black and white on my resume. Just blatant discrimination. I was assured my resume would be kept on file and I would have the chance to come in and do some testing to see if I am a match for other positions.
