      Resolutions & Receiverships Specialist Interview

      21 Jul 2011
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at FDIC in Nov 2009

      Interview

I applied for the position online. I never had an interview -- just an offer. There is a lot of background checking and finger-printing. This was unusual. In March 2011, I had a "structured interview" for a new position in a different department. This was much different. A set of questions was sent to me prior to a phone interview. Two people took turns asking questions and I answered them, taking as long as I needed. I couldn't ask for further explanation of the question. The interviewers could only ask questions. It was very weird, but I thought it was interesting and probably more fair than many interviews.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Explain a difficult situation and how you resolved it.
