Spoke to the manager of the store highlighting my prior experience. She explained the requirements of the position and the benefits i wiuld be entitled to. It was an informal easygoing experience.
I received a call from the in house, part time recruiter and was asked simplistic questions. She then set up a time for me to meet the owner. I met the owner at one of the stores and was again, asked simplistic questions. The owner called me within the next day and wanted me to speak to his wife, as well as his director of stores. I spoke with both and wasn't asked any questions. The owner called back and made me the offer, and I started 2 weeks after.

Question 1
What is your experience with managing a tough team?
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at FOX'S (Mineola, NY)
Interview
Interview process was good and thorough, the Ownership and corporate office was involved. It's a case of saying and wanting one thing but when you're hired it's a completely different thing, like a bait and switch scenario. It seems like a promising company until you actually get into the reality that a family owned business doesn't accept change easily.
