Applied online and was contacted by a recruiter via email a week later. Quickly scheduled an initial HR screening, which was a brief 10-minute phone call with basic questions like "Why do you want to work here?", "Tell me your background," and "Do you have experience with this scripting language?" The next day, I received an email for the second-round interview with the hiring manager.
This interview felt off—it was scheduled for 45 minutes but lasted only 15. The interviewer seemed uninterested, asked standard behavioral questions, and gave minimal responses before quickly moving on. I was highly qualified for the questions asked and provided strong answers, but the interviewer barely engaged and seemed eager to wrap things up. At the end, I was told I'd hear back in three days. It’s now been two weeks, and like many others, I’ve been ghosted. Even after following up via email, no response. A simple rejection email would have been appreciated.
