      Handeler Interview

      31 Aug 2010
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied in-person. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at FedEx in Jun 2010

      Interview

I went to the recruitment center to apply initially. On that day I waited to go into a room with a group of people to apply for the position on a computer. After the application was complete I went back into the waiting area to wait to take a drug test. I got a call about 6 weeks later to come back in for finger printing in a week. After that I got another call to come back in to complete paperwork and was told what my hire date would be. After going in for the paperwork (tax info, postal clearance and generall employee info) I was told to buy a pair of boots and to show up in two weeks for orientation. This would last two nights 7 or 8 hours each. The third night I would be assigned to a group/manager. Overall it is very time consuming, but I have worked there before and I know it is worth it for the benefits and tuition reimbursement.
