I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at First Republic (New York, NY)
Interview
In total, I interviewed with 25 people, all from different branches of First Republic Bank. They all seemed to be disinterested in spending 5 minutes of their time with me. According to my interviewers, it is First Republic custom for a potential employee to meet with almost all of the preferred bankers. After completing these 25 different interviews, First Republic had me fill out a one page financial proposal. In this proposal I was to come up with a new idea and back it with a financial plan. This was one of the longest interviewing processes I have ever been through.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Personally, I was not asked any technical questions. However, I was asked mainly situational questions. Many of the questions focused on how I would treat a client if x, y, and z, were to happen. First Republic takes these questions into serious consideration because it is the Preferred Banker's main job to treat the client with the utmost respect.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at First Republic (Los Angeles, CA) in Mar 2021
Interview
Went through two interviews, first with a regional manager, the second one with the local GM and their HR representative. They both took about 30 minutes each. I never got an update after the second interview. Even now a year later it still says "processing" online

Question 1
Do you have a work authorization in the US and how long my permit would be valid for?
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at First Republic (Los Angeles, CA) in Sept 2018
Interview
either google or iPhone face to face interview. then you take a HUGE test there were about 3. two timed the other was an email that you had to construct. The process is LONG so if you get other offers just take it. if it takes long to interview i can just image how long it take to fix things in bank. make sure you tell them that you like to baby feed your customers they like to "provide great customer service" but they still want you to be hungry for sales. This bank already ask for too much from an interviewee in process compared to others one can image when you are put to work they will expect you to go above and beyond your pay grade every time!
