Interview
The interviewer had been directed by her manager to speak with me rather than selecting me herself, and that dynamic was pretty obvious throughout our conversation. It was one of those interviews where you can tell right away you’re not moving forward, haha. What really sealed it was when she shared that the salary range was actually $30K lower than what was listed online. Not a major point, but I did find it interesting that she was both the recruiter and a cross-functional partner. I imagine that kind of dual role doesn’t always work in candidates’ favor.

Interview
Interviewed twice for separate positions, 1st time after several director level interviews got ghosted by HR. Never heard back one way or the other. Second time was for several positions which I was actually over qualified for but the work looked interesting. Met up to VP level over the course of weeks. Interview questions were all softballs. Weeks again went by and only after both email and phone call did I finally get they didn't see a fit. This after at least one director said I'm a shoe in. Very disappointed in the people and the process. Perhaps they did me a favor.

Interview
Brief 5 minute conversation with HR. Not many questions asked related to my qualifications. Those questions were sent via email and included the same questions asked on the online job application.
