Very odd they seemed really interested in my background, asked me to travel there (I’m out of state) to interview with them. My peril is title didn’t exactly match the role advertised, but they said they’re okay with that.
Once I got there, the interviewer showed up 15 min late and asked me 2-3 questions and said he didn’t want to progress with my candidacy without the right experience. WAIT, you KNOW my resume, if you want someone with the exact experience don’t wait till they’ve travelled all that distance to tell them in person. A simple email would’ve been fine.
Pretty disappointed in the way they handled it, probably the biggest waste of time I can remember in my life.
I applied online. They emailed me and gave me the first 20 min phone interview, it contained general behavioral questions. Then they gave me an online four hour technical quiz including programming languages and statistics and so on.
I applied online. I interviewed at GasBuddy.com (Regina, SK) in Jun 2019
Interview
I applied online and got a request about for a phone interview about two weeks later. Was interviewed by 2 people - the HR person and the Customer Success manager. I was asked standard behavioral questions. I passed this stage, the next stage was a customer support take-home challenge. Was given 4 different customer service ticket scenarios and asked to respond to them as creatively as I can. I had 48 hours to submit my solution. Did not pass this stage but was told the next step would have been a face to face interview. Overall though, it was a great experience, they were very friendly and answered all my questions elaborately
