I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Goldman Sachs (New York, NY)
Interview
Three fit interviews with associates and vice presidents. There were some mathematic components and some very basic market question, but the largest focus was put on the fit. You have to be a generally likable and extrovert person, since the work is so client focused. Don't compare it with other parts of the division or the larger firm, I've heard of different people who tried to take this route and failed to get an offer.
I had to apply online and do a virutal interview with the HireVue system. Afterwards, I was flown to the office location for a superday. I interviewed for around half of the day and then was called after regarding the decision from my interview.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Goldman Sachs (Chicago, IL) in Dec 2018
Interview
Applied through an employee referral. Had a phone interview within a week and was invited for a super day the same day. Phone interview was easy and had typical wealth management questions and market-based questions. Super day was mediocre - some questions were simple market based questions but others were more complex about foreign markets.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Goldman Sachs (New York, NY) in Oct 2018
Interview
Applied and was promptly contacted by HR to arrange a phone interview which lasted 30 min, there was a follow up phone conversation where I was offered an in person interview. In person interview was a "super day" consisting of 5 one on one interviews with breaks to socialize with other applicants in between. Overall behavioral questions, but some analytical and market questions.
