The entire interview process went smoothly and very well organized.
The interview was conducted on Saturday virtually over Zoom. The final round with Senior Member was over a weekday. There was a total of 4 rounds which included Design , Coding and Problem-solving.
Panels were good and their work and culture seemed good. It was my first interview after a long time, hence now i think I was not well prepared.
HR was very friendly and polite. She guided me through the process and gave constructive feedback when I requested post-interview.

Question 1
Design of Chess game with 2 players was asked in Round 1 . Round 2 was design implemetation and Round 3 was coding.
I applied in-person. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Harness in Feb 2021

Interview process included several stages:
- Interview with HR (introducing my previous career
path, what am I doing at the moment...)
- Assignment (was given a task with detailed explanation what is expected as an output. The task was not quite trivial, but also not something impossible to solve. Was given enough time and freedom to choose tech stack to work with)
- Several rounds of technical interviews with people from deferent roles in the company. Questions were in range of how I would design an imaginary software platform, limitations of contemporary software components, challenges I recently faced...
- Non-tech interview with the product manager
