I was called by a third party recruiter to fill a role. I decided what the heck and went in for an interview.
From the first minute I felt welcome, Henry Schein has some great people and even the folks at the door wished me luck and told me what a great team I might be joining.
My supervisor immediately connected with me, he was personable and simply fun to talk too. This barely felt like an interview as we chatted about video/photo/gear and I showed him my stuff.
It was obvious that everyone who works at Schein loves it and even when I was getting the wifi code we could hear the IT guy telling a new person in training how much he loved working there and how great everyone was. My future supervisor was a little embarrassed and promised it was staged.
I met a few more of the team members during the interview and left feeling as though I had spent the last hour (more than 30min over time) chatting with friends rather than interviewing.
Not 2hrs later the recruiter called to offer me the job and I started a week or so later. Really fantastic company and just an amazing experience interviewing.
