    Very easy going, I had 2 interviews one with HR and another with a manager. The HR asked very simple questions such as why Igate, why we should hire you etc. The manager asked about my internship and what i did there

    They called from India and said that they wanted to interview me the next day. I explained that I lived in GA about 3 hours away but would make the trip. When they called back after the interview and told me that they were offering me the job they told me I had 45 minutes to be there. I explained again that I lived 3 hours away and I would be there as soon as I could. I was 3.5 hours late for my first day on the job....not a good feeling.

      Discussed about my background, my previous projects, current projects, DB's, some real project scenario with problems and how I will address them, some questions on front end tech and how the optimization will work. Also, gave a case study and asked how I will work.

      Round#2
      Got a call from Senior Manager. He asked the same q's as that of round one. Lasted for 35 mins.

      After 2 rounds, got a call from HR. Discussed the job band. They offered a lower level than I was currently in. Also, the pay range was below my expectation. HR was not ready to negotiate.   Answer Question

    Reasons for Declining

    Offered a lower level of job band. Also, salary was below expectation.

    the interviewer went into pretty lengthy detail regarding my experience attempting to ensure that it matched up with the current opening.
    I was asked various desktop specific hypothetical questions as well as questions designed to verify how I would respond to fellow employees not pulling their fair share of the load.

    1st was telephonic round quiet easy, 2nd was 1:1 discussion phone screening , 3rd was Group panel puzzled. Final HR discussion and Offer Letter

    Thereafter Medical and drug test and joining.

    On board process was smoother.

    Interview took as long as 3 months to complete. They delayed it in each and every phase, but mentioned that they didnt had enough clarity from client. And the irony is that i could work for only 3 months and the proj got ended and had to relocate for another project!!!
