The recruiters at In N Out are great. If I could give one rating for the recruiters and the process, I would give the recruiters a 10/10. They are clear communicators and lay out the process very well. The only drawback is the hiring managers. It seemed like there were constant starts and stops and that the hiring managers were only interested in hiring their friends or people they had worked with before, as they mentioned several times in the interview, especially when I asked about the culture in the department. My recruiter was super professional, but I could sense they would get frustrated with the hiring team because of their indecisiveness. I applied for a specific level position with many years of experience and was selected to interview for the position I applied for. Then, even before the interview with the hiring manager started, they talked about a lower-level position; this felt like a bait and switch. I could tell the recruiter was a little disappointed at this when I mentioned it, but she remained very professional. The process included phone screen, 1st interview (on-site), workstyle assessment (1 hour), 2nd interview (on-site), 3rd interview (on-site). When the recruiter reached out the final time, it was to offer the lower-level position, and I declined. However, she offered to have me interview for another position at the original level in another area of HR. I appreciated that.
