I have applied for Lead Database administrator position through LinkedIn. After a month I received an email from a recruiter requesting an hour video interview. I have shared my schedule with the recruiter and recruiter scheduled the interview. I have attended a video conference, and two vice presidents were there in the call they interviewed me for an hour. I was able to answer all the questions correctly. Two days later, the recruiter called to discuss salary, benefits, and relocation. The recruiter informed me that I need to attend another interview. The second interview was with the 2 Vice President and Executive director interview, they took 1.5hr interview. The interview went well; I was able to answer all questions correctly.
The recruiter called me and told me they will release offer in 2 days and asked me to share my SSN and family details to raise relocation request. The recruiter does not get back to me after 3 days also, I have sent a follow-up email to the recruiter, I got response saying hiring manager on vacation for a weekdays. I must wait for the offer letter till the hiring manager back from vacation.
After 2 weeks I got an email from the recruiter saying hiring manager is back to work and they will release the offer letter today. I responded to the recruiter saying thank you and looking forward to the offer letter.
Next morning I got a call from the recruiter and the position is cancelled. It was really shocked with the recruiter response. I have nothing to say than listen to the recruiter.
I have spent over 40hrs preparing for these interviews, I request the JP Morgan chase management please respect the job seekers’ time and avoid this kind of practice.
JP Morgan chase is world’s no.1 company but the hiring practices are not inline with the company standards.
Do not get excited when you get an offer letter from JP Morgan chase, until join you in the company and get paystub job is not guaranteed.
