I applied through a recruiter. The process took a week. I interviewed at J.P. Morgan (New York, NY (US)).

    Interview

Two phone interviews: One phone and one technical. Pretty straightforward, be prepared for a lot of behavioral project questions. I had a great experience, they were willing to expedite the process due to a pending offer, so I did the interview on a Tuesday and had my offer on Friday.

    Application

I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at J.P. Morgan in February 2017.

    Interview

I initially saw them at the university career fair and then applied online. It was about a week and a half between submitting an application and receiving an offer for an on-campus interview. There was a pretty short notice to sign up for an interview: I saw the email in the morning and they wanted a response by the afternoon of the same day.
The interview was basically exactly the same as what everyone else said here. Reading glassdoor reviews was very helpful in determining the questions they asked.

The process was overall pretty good, but a couple of times they said they would send out an email for some information but never did (or it took a lot longer than initially promised).

    Application

I applied through college or university. The process took 4+ weeks. I interviewed at J.P. Morgan (Tallahassee, FL (US)) in February 2017.

    Interview

Two interviews: Started out with the technical interview which wasn't so bad. Questions asked had to do with my past internship experience, my hobbies outside of academics, and programming concepts (the difference between Java and Javascript and what a hash table is).

The Second interview (behavioral) was right after the technical interview. They asked me basic questions which I got asked at every other interview (How well you work with teams, any team projects which you took the lead on, your interpersonal skills)

    Interview Questions

    • Questions specific to what I wrote on my resume (positions about the clubs I'm in) and what the type of work I did at my current internship (They asked specific questions following what I responded)   Answer Question

    Application

I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at J.P. Morgan (College Station, TX (US)) in February 2017.

    Interview

I applied through my university's career fair and interviewed on campus with J.P. Morgan about a week later.

The interview wasn't particularly difficult. I was asked to walk my interviewer through my resume, discuss work experiences, and then was asked to solve a very simple technical question (implement an efficient sorting algorithm to sort a list of small integers). I thought the interview went well, and when I asked for feedback, my interviewer said that I was an excellent fit for the position.

And then that was it.... It's been 2 months since the date of my interview. I've attempted to reach out to my recruiter, my interviewer, other recruiters, and even the general recruiting contact line on J.P. Morgan's career website. I've sent at least 8 emails and haven't received a single response. A simple rejection letter is significantly more preferable to silence.

I even know several people who interviewed with J.P Morgan on campus at the same time I did. They all heard back within a week, some getting rejection letters and others moving on to the next round. I have absolutely no idea why I didn't get a reply when so many others did.

    Interview Questions

    • Implement an algorithm in code on paper to sort list of integers. Try to be as efficient as possible.   Answer Question
