Question 1
Asked for a scenario when I have had to work with difficult team members.
I applied online. The process took 5 months. I interviewed at Jacobs (Manchester, England) in Nov 2023
Interview
Multi-stage assessment centre with psychometric testing and virtual interview before being invited to the final in-person interview. In this instance I only got through to the virtual recorded interview. You are able to re-record your answers as many times.
My issue is that i submitted ny video interview in November and did not receive an update on my application until the end of April. Throughout those 5 months I tried to communicate with the team but it wasn’t easy to get a hold of them. The format of the generic rejection email had lef me to believe that because they have so many applicants and not the staffing resources to review them, they only process a few applicant at one time which leaves other applicants left. Graduate schemes commonly give out their offers in the April/May so the fact my rejection had come at that time makes me believe that they never looked at my application, proceeded with prior applicant and filled in all their vacancies. I wish there was more communication and transparency as it has taken so long to just be given a rejection. My advice would be to apply as early as possible.
