Janover interview questions

Odd process. Spoke to HR person as first step. Then met with a consultant they hired to help find the right candidate and a partner of the firm. Had a panel interview and thought it went well due to significant experience however received email from HR advising did not make it to next level. No explanation offered even though I reached back out for feedback. Still seeing their post for the same position months later on LinkedIn. Wondering if they are just not willing to meet salary expectations for this role. This is only a guess.
