I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Kohl's (Irving, TX) in Oct 2012
Interview
After filling out an application on their website I received a call about coming on for an interview. The interview was scheduled for 9:00 am a few days later. Upon arriving to the store I was asked to go sit in a room with about 7 other applicants. It was a group interview. We took turns answering questions about ourselves and our past experiences. Quite a few people in the room were hired due to mass holiday hiring.

Interview
I had a remotely easy interview process that went pretty quick. They asked the average questions, but the pay was not the best so I did not go with them.

Can you name a time you had to show good teamwork?
scheduled Zoom interview TWICE and both times, I waited in appropriate "room" and no one from Kohls "showed up". I even called the local store and asked if I should keep waiting, who ever answered checked and they said yes, they will be right with you. I waited over 30 minutes each time.

I applied online. I interviewed at Kohl's (Fort Smith, AR) in Feb 2026
Interview
The interview was completely online, and I spoke with someone from HR. The interview was incredibly short and lacked much substance. The interview consisted of basic questions about when I would be available, but also included a personal question about going out of my way to help somone. All in all, it was a horrible experience.
