I applied online. I interviewed at Korea Exchange Bank (Hong Kong) in Jun 2015
Interview
Applied for the position in KEB Asia Finance. it was a 5(interviewers) to 1(me) interview, though I can remember only two staff that have most of the interaction with me. One of them had really bad English... and there are some silence during the interview...(part of that might be my problem?) but overall, the first experience was ok.
Later, I got invited for a second interview, where we mainly discussed about the terms of the contract briefly. I would say that the salary was a little bit low compared with the industries. (And much lower as before as far as I know) But what upset me was their attitude. During the negotiation of salary and other benefits, I felt that they didn't really care about you, and that they were simply looking for someone who can accomplish the task and had the lowest requirement. The HR even used the word 'impossible', which seemed very negative to me.
I heard that most of their management level staff were assigned from Korea, and there was barely any people from other country. They seemed to be very proud of themselves, that was not necessarily a bad thing. But they should not feel that people from other culture are not worth treating well.
I doubt that I would be happy working in such company.

Question 1
It was an entry level position, so basically some question about your resume and no technical questions.
I applied through other source. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Korea Exchange Bank in May 2014
Interview
Hiring process was simply applying, and getting a phone call.
KEB, especially in Canada is currently expanding, and will be needing a lot of interns. Speaking Korean, I'd say is not an asset, but a must.
By the time you receive an interview, they've already made up their mind to hire you. Just go in, relax, stay polite, and answer their questions, which is usually about your preferences. The HR works hard match you to your experiences to the needs of the team.

Question 1
What department would you like to work in? Realize Korean firms hire "generalists", not "specialists". HR decides either or not to take you, and your choice of department is decided afterwards.
