Zoom screening, followed by an invitation to a one-hour in-person interview at the company's offices. I was asked to bring a copy of my résumé and writing sample. The in-person was a pleasant experience as well, and I was asked to provide two references the next day. However, I lost a lot of respect for the company when I was subsequently ghosted, despite sending two follow-up emails one and two weeks later, respectively. How difficult would it have been to reply, "We're proceeding with another candidate," especially after a candidate invests time and money traveling to the company's office?
