I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at LexisNexis Legal & Professional in Oct 2023
Interview
I applied through a tech conference. Two weeks later, I was contacted to schedule a phone screen. During the phone screen, I was told that there would be one 30-minute interview with a panel of two software engineers that would ask questions about my technical experience, skills, projects, how I collaborate in a team, and soft skills I'm working on. After the interview, if selected, I would participate in a round table at a given date. The interview was pretty good. I was not asked any technical questions and the interviewers were friendly. However, I did not hear back from LexisNexis on the date that the round robin was supposed to take place, which I thought was a bit unprofessional, as I had been planning my schedule around it. The way I received my "offer letter" also seemed a bit suspicious and unprofessional. The offer letter stated a different role than the one I had applied to and interviewed for, and stated that the compensation was "competitive" even though it was quite low. Overall, I'm glad I had the chance to interview with this company but it was certainly not my first choice.

The interview was largely behavioral and resume-focused. In my interview, they asked a couple of OOP questions and other questions about problem solving and working on a team. I had a positive experience
