    Interview

The application process and online tests were fairly easy. However, the tests take around 90 mins as they have to be completed in the same sitting. I have not received any feedback yet, but I assume it is very competitive as people achieving 90%+ in the online tests still do not receive an interview offer.

    Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Lloyds Banking Group.

    Interview

A standard strength and competency-based video interview. You get 30 seconds to prepare and 90 to record your answer. The questions are pre-recorded by one of their employees. She reads out the question for you and then it is displayed on the side of the screen during prep time and when answering. Even though 90 seconds seem enough, if you use the STAR approach as recommended by Lloyds, try to avoid giving a "general" answer and dive into your story.

    Interview Questions

    • The email they send when inviting for the video interview gives a great insight into what the questions might be about. Have a good answer to what excites you about the Lloyds Banking Group.   Answer Question

    Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Lloyds Banking Group in December 2017.

    Interview

You have five days to complete the video interview. I expected the sonru interface, but instead it was Lloyds' own, which was not 'very' robust. 30 seconds to prepare for giving the answer, 90 seconds to answer. They probably change the questions every year as the questions were not the same as in 2016. 9 questions

    Interview Questions

      why this programme
what is your approach to overcome setback, such as receiving constructive feedback?
how will you make sure that you deliver excellent results despite the challenges you may face
in your opinion, why is it important to put customers first?
