Interview

4 online interviews (2 1:1s and 2 panels) and I haven't heard from them since then - I found out I was rejected from the system. The conversation during panels were rather dry and focused only on very narrow aspects of the job. I felt like interviewed for a different position than applied so not sure on their expectations from the candidates. I don't regret being rejected. I just think would be respectful to send 2-3 sentences of feedback.

Received an email to schedule a virtual interview. Interview was recorded and conducted by AI. Questions were asked and provided a short time to answer each question. It seems impersonal, but very efficient for the company. The length of time to answer questions did not seem sufficient for the type of questions they were asking.

Interview

I had 2 interviews - 1st with HR and 2nd with hiring manager. Used to ask standard questions - what i’m looking for, why do I search for new opportunities, why do I know about the company and what I used to do at previous jobs. Be ready to discuss your salary expectations. Everybody were very positive and friendly, but didn’t provide any feedback.

I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Mars (New York, NY)

Interview

No HR screening call; email exchange leading straight to hiring manager call, which is the only stage i made it to. The hiring manager never put on her camera sighting IT issues (seriously?). The title of the vacancy did not represent the job. FYI, an analytics manager is someone proficient in analytics tools such as Python, SQL, or more GUI lead tools like Alteryx. He/she is hired to manage a team of analysts/engineers with similar skill-set. If you just want some random Excel files standardized and combined with VLOOKUP, you're just looking for a recent graduate with Excel knowledge... Honestly, this could have been avoided with a simple HR screening call, where i would have withdrawn my application I did receive feedback from HR, but it unfortunately made no sense, sighting experience/skill-sets that were not mine, which seemed to indicate she was confused about whom she was addressing

Interview Questions
  • Are you able to handle disparate data sources?
  • Talk about how you would handle stakeholders that go against what you propose

Inpersoonlijk, kort, en online. Het gesprek vond plaats via een progamma en zonder interviewer. Dit was naar. Verbinding was er niet en dus konden er ook geen vragen gesteld worden
