Interview
I applied on-line to the job that i found at the companie's website. After two weeks, got a phone call from the manager who was trying to fill the position in his group. We talked mostly about my area of research at grad school (with was very similar to my manager's area of research), some of my published papers, and then he briefly described their are of research and the specific duties of the position. After two weeks, got an email from HR inviting me for an oral interview. It took places couple of weeks after the email. It consisted of several interviews with HR, managers and directors, and an oral presentation for the R&D department. HR questions were behavioral and analytical, the managers and director's questions were more about science.

HR questions were the most unexpected as i wasn't totally prepared, despite reading a book about how to answer to job interview questions. For example, most unexpected situation i had during grad school, describe my relation with my advisor, describe a moment where i was challenged and how i handle it

Interview with hiring manager was great, and was told that I'd move to the next round of interviews. After a phone call with a rude recruiter from the same company for a different position, i was taken out of the running for both jobs.

A screening interview, a 30min phone interview with the hiring manager and 2 other managers, and a virtual multi-hour interview that included a presentation than a series of 1 on 1 and group interviews.
The process took 1 day. I interviewed at MilliporeSigma (Glasgow, Scotland) in Feb 2018
Interview
Very easy interview process. Fill the online application form followed by a telephone conversation. After the telephone conversation, I was invited for a face to face interview. I was offered the job a few days after the face to face interview.
