Anonymous Interview Candidate in Biel, Bern
I applied online. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Movado Group (Biel, Bern) in Oct 2022

It was a really nice process as far as interviews go, no hoops to jump through. I was able to understand exactly what I was in for, questions were not ambiguous. The interviewers were welcoming and nice.
- What has been the biggest mistake you have made to date?

There were 3 stages of interviews. HR over the phone, then department head and then director. There was also a practical task. The process was clear and informative however there were some delays with HR follow up.
- If I could give feedback to my previous manager, what would it be and why?

Anonymous Interview Candidate in Jersey City, NJ
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Movado Group (Jersey City, NJ) in Jul 2021
The interview process went as expected for positions in the design industry. I applied for the position in early June. About a month later the VP of Recruiting reached out for an interview. I was instructed that they were close to end of their recruitment process and they really wanted to get me in front of the hiring manager. Within a week I had my first round of interviews with the team. The interview went well and the hiring team requested two projects to be completed as a requirement for all applicants in the process. I would have two weeks to complete (a pretty substantial project, requirements were: design direction, mood boards, hand sketches, illustrator drawings, 3D, renderings, and presentation packet for both brands). Upon completion I presented to a larger scope of VP and team members. They kept the 2nd interview / presentation fairly short and was advised they would be following up shortly with a decision. After multiple follow ups with HR and the hiring manager, I ended up getting ghosted. No response. No feedback. After loosing 2 weekends and several hours of work on a project I was really shocked that the communication went silent. Knowing at how small the watch and jewelry industry is I was shocked with how the process unfolded and disappointed in the lack of communication and requests of the interview with no follow through.
- Basic. Whats your background and how would you be an asset in this role.

Are two different types of interviews and very simple questions about yourself. The questions are open and take time to develop a conversation. The information is most about your interests and experiences in sales.
- What is the things you want to work in the company

It was simple and easy. Your standard interview. They did tell me that there is no opportunity for growth unless someone above quits or gets pregnant...They weren't wrong about that.
- What are your strengths and weaknesses?

i had an invitation to their interview group. everyone had a 15 minute chat with the person who came to interview. that person didnt seem to know much about data or how it is used. i had the impression of that decision was already made in terms of who will be the next round candidate. it felt like we were all fighting for something that's already been given to someone else. no conversation on how data might be used to improve the business, let alone no questions out of resume. i suggest you not to interview with them. i guess they just call in to fill their quota, creating an impression of being fairness, in fact that's not the case i assume.
- we talk nothing serious, only how i got here and why chose data science etc.

It was very pleasant and very warming! The manager walked me around the store and showed me everything before doing the interview to make me feel more comfortable! Would highly recommend! Even though the retail hours aren't awesome the people are!
- They asked about my experience and school experience!
