Interview
Applied for a position at their cardiac services interview day. A number of nurse managers from their cardiac services were there and each took a few moments to describe their floor and the positions they were looking to fill. Afterwards, we were able to choose which of the nurse managers we wanted to sit and interview with along with a nurse recruiter from the human resources department. You could interview with as many or as few of the managers you wanted depending on your area of interest within their cardiac services. Potential candidates were then emailed after the fact to schedule another interview day.

Straightforward. First met with recruiter for basic screening questions. Then met with specialty recruiter in the department/specialty I wanted. Was then put into contact with manager of the unit. Answered why I wanted to work on that floor and some basic job questions.

They asked me a variety of scenario questions, I'm a new grad so they only asked one clinical question (easy prioritization). Overall it really varies from unit to unit so make sure you have a lot of scenarios in mind that can tailor to multiple questions that could be asked.
