The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Nielsen in Apr 2010
Interview
Company seemed very professional. They have a series of interviews asking a lot about interest in Nielsen...if you don't know anything about the company or what they do, they will most likely remove you from the application pool. In my analyst class, I saw kids from lesser-known schools getting offers over some of my friends from Ivy League universities. The most important part of your interview is to be very knowledgeable about the Nielsen website and your specific position.
They don't ask any challenging questions, culture is not like finance in this firm. Very relaxed and laid back.
A recruiter started with a quick phone chat to get to know ,e better. Asked about my background, experience, and why I'm interested in the role. Got a few behavioral questions to see if my values aligned with Nielsen’s culture.
An interview followed by an in person case study. The process was fairly straight forward but the case is not easy if you are not an analytical person to begin with.
I applied online. I interviewed at Nielsen (Kuala Lumpur)
Interview
It very easy. Basic question are asked. They ask what did I work as in previous company and how I can contribute to current role. Ask why I want to join the company.
