I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at NinjaOne (Boca Raton, FL) in Feb 2025

No Honor in This Dojo – NinjaOne Ghosted Post Interviews!
I went through a long and thorough hiring process with NinjaOne, only to be completely ghosted in the end.
First, I completed a scripting challenge that took about three hours—fair for the engineering role I applied for. Then, I interviewed with a senior director and a lead engineer. The interview went well (per my impression and the recruiter’s feedback), but I quickly realized they weren’t just looking for a PowerShell expert. They wanted someone proficient in Linux, Mac, and seemingly every OS under the sun.
After two weeks, they called me back for a final interview with the VP of Software Engineering. I invested significant time and effort—only for them to vanish. No feedback, no rejection email, nothing. For a company that demands so much from candidates, the least they could do is send a status update.
This kind of unprofessionalism is a red flag. If this is how they treat candidates, I’d seriously question how they treat employees. Beware and lower your expectations.
