Interview
We met individually with three to six PIs for about 30 to 45 minutes each. The PIs mostly discussed their own work and the Northwestern environment, and asked a little about my own research experience and undergraduate education. They were also interested in me, personally, and my interests and career goals. and later went out on the town with current and prospective students. We also had a large dinner with current students and PIs, and attended a poster session put on by admitted first-years.
Two rounds. The first is with the general committe members. The second is with the PI that you are specially interested in or they are interested in you. After the two interviews, they will meet and rate you based on your scores and knowledge and experience.

Interview
It was super fast, very nice people. I actually really enjoyed the process because they shared a lot about career growth and how I can grow as a professional at this institution. I would not say the interview process was difficult at all. I had very little stress and they shared some questions with me beforehand
