Can you think of a time where you received good customer service?
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Oliver Bonas in Nov 2025
Interview
I applied online and was later asked to book in a telephone interview. It was short, informal phone call, the manager just gave me a rundown of the role/contract. She asked about my availability and a little about my experience.
I was emailed later that week and then asked to book in an in-person interview for the following weekend. The interview was again quite informal, about 20/30minutes with the manager asking quite typical interview questions, mostly customer service based. I then spent another 30mins ish on the shop floor, getting to know the other staff and completing some little tasks (shopping for someone with £30 budget, approaching customers, prompting a sale etc)
It was overall a lovely interview process, it was nice to meet some of the other staff and spend time on the shop floor. The supervisor was really informative and gave me a great little rundown of the store and how they work :)
If you enjoy customer service/retail this interview will be a breeze!
