I was told to come in to talk about a job I had applied for, when I arrived I was left waiting for at least 15 minutes. When the woman, who I think is the manager but maybe the owner, finally came to me she had a very unfriendly demeanor. I felt like she was judging me, not just by how she was looking at me but also by how she talked to me. The first thing she said to me was ‘I wasn’t going to call you in for an interview but I read your message so I brought you in’. She was referring to a follow up message I sent after applying to let her know my phone wasn’t working and that I needed the job very badly so I hoped that wouldn’t hinder anything. I found that so extremely rude to immediately tell someone you’re interviewing that you never had any interest in interviewing them, what was the point of telling me that. She asked me one maybe two very dismissive questions and I was given that dreaded line of ‘well I have a couple more interviews today’ line and sent on my way. It was a complete waste of time start to finish. Even the time I spent applying for that job was a waste of time.
