The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Parkwood (Cleveland, OH) in Feb 2009
Interview
I was presented for the opportunity by an staffing firm. There were a number of unusual questions that had to be answered in the presentation process, including my high school GPA. Once the hiring manager expressed an interest in me, the company sent an application to be filled out *by hand*, and explicitly told the recruiter penmanship counts.
After the very detailed pre-interview process, I expected a stiff and uncomfortable interview, but was pleasantly surprised. The hiring coordinator and the line manager were very pleasant and seemed happy to engage in conversation about the opportunity and my background, rather than a formal Q and A.
Parkwood is looking for high achievers, solid academic credentials, high GPA, certifications. If a candidate can get past the initial high barriers, the interview process becomes much like any other. Polish up your shoes and get out the most conservative suit you own, but the people are cordial and friendly. Not scary at all.
